Sébastien Vettel wins the GP of Hungary - Formula 1
Sébastien Vettel is back to winning after months of drought. The last victory of the German dates back in the early season at the Grand Prix of the United States. The Ferrari driver has successfully established himself in a mad race; the two Mercedes did not make the weight at the Hungaroring against all odds of sports betting enthusiasts. Everything started with Lewis Hamilton who lost control of the race from the first corner as he left on pole. Nico Rosberg was unable to catch up after an off track in the first round. Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen and Sébastien Vettel have picked up the pace. They even almost succeeded a double, but the energy recuperator of the single-seater of Raikkonen dropped, forcing him to abandon the race.
Sébastien Vettel sped alone to victory in front of Red Bull of Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg finished the race in 6th and 8th position. At one point, the British Lewis Hamilton handed pressure on the German going up to 4th place, but everything changed on the 43rd turn on an accident of Nico Hulkenberg (Force India) following the loss of his front wing. Hamilton has copped a drive-through penalty for having aggressively overstriped Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) after the withdrawal of the safety car. Vettel wins his 41st F1 victory and consolidated his third place overall with 25 points earned freshly (160 points), just behind Rosberg (181 points) and Hamilton (202 points).
