The France Poker Series-Paris is officially cancelled - France
Organizers and the online poker room partner of France Poker Series (FPS) have officially announced the cancellation of the FPS Paris, a poker event which was planned to be held at the Cercle Cadet from November 21 to 30. As mentioned on the statement, the unprecedented administration closure of the host gambling club is the main cause of it. Regarding how the current situation evolves, the organizers have decided to cancel the event as it would take a pretty big amount of time to find another facility to do so. Actually, they are forced to cancel the stage. Despite all this, players can always switch to other tournaments scheduled in other attractive cities like Deauville, Namur and Prague_ where the game of poker is King. According to France Poker Series official Cedric Billot, these alternatives are available to all (online) qualified players.
Players who were qualified via the FPS Paris online poker event can now choose for a refund or swap their tickets FPS Paris against major tournaments such as the FPS Final de Deauville (January 28 to February 1st, 2015), the Belgian Poker Series-Namur 500,000 guarantee (November 28 to December 7, 2014) or the Eureka Poker Tour Prague (December 7 to 11, 2014). For online poker fans, FPS Paris tickets are swappable against those of the French Championship Of Online Poker (FCOOP), an online poker event scheduled on November 2 to 17 and is accessible for 25 to 2,500 of buy-in.
