WPT National Brussels: Victory of the Russian Yunoz Tuguz

Another amateur poker player come to achieve a huge feat in Brussels at the World Poker Tour National Brussels (WPT), which was held from February 14 to 18. This is the Russian Yunoz Tuguz. He triumph face to a large field of 449 players after five days of competition rich in action and emotion. This victory earned him a place in the professional world and a prize of € 135,000. He eliminated the Danish Erichsen Bo Kjaer during the final head's up. This last pocketed the runner-up prize of € 96,000. The Dutch Razab Mohamed was meanwhile awarded the third place.



While the French Jérôme Dumayet took seat in the poker room of Casino Brussels as chipleader at this final, he could not go further than the 5th place. Frédéric Marshal occupies the 4th place. Didier Cicurel, Stéphane Benoit, Rico Pauker and Kris Pereira complete the list of finalists and are respectively in the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th place. Regarding the results of the other players who took part in this event, several well-known players achieved in the money list. Among them, there is Yves Hallague, Antoine Labat, Pierre Neuville, Steven Moreau, Koen de Visscher and Benjamin Pollak. After this step in the Belgian capital, the WPT will cross the Indian Ocean towards Mauritius. This new stage is scheduled to be held from March 3 to 9.
