The schedule now unveiled, 104 events on the menu - 2016 PCA

The schedule of the 2016 PCA (PokerStars Caribbean Adventure) has just been unveiled. The one-of-a-kind poker festival will take place from January 6 to 14 in the Bahamas, in the Caribbean Islands. By boasting 104 events, it promises to be the greatest of all. Announced last Friday, the 2016 PCA schedule has undergone some exciting changes. Most important of all is the fact that the buy-in for the Main Event, which will run from January 8 to 14, has been scaled down. According PCA Tournament Director “Edgar Stuchly”, the plan is to offer players the same experience as that in the European Poker Tour Barcelona. May we remind you that the EPT Barcelona Main Event has been a smashing success. With a view to reproducing the same appeal, Stuchly and his team have come up with the idea to halve the participation fee. Thus, the Main Event buy-in has been set to $ 5,300 this year. In 2009 it saw $ 10,000, and in 2010, the amount had $ 300 more.

Also included on the menu of this poker tournament are a series of interesting High-stakes events. Aside from the $ 100,000 buy-in Super High Roller, there will be a $ 50,000 buy-in Single Day Event, a $ 25,000 High Roller and three $ 10,000 buy-in champions’ battles. Among the series of sides events, the schedule features ten $ 5,000 buy-in ones. To satisfy each and every participant, there will be another series of lower buy-in events starting from $ 120.
