Yousri Chicago Ali leads the way to Day 2 battle - 2015 MSPT Meskwaki
After the World Series of Poker, all yes are now on the ongoing Mid-States Poker Tour Meskwaki, another world-reknown poker festival which is currently held at the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel in Tama, Iowa. Currently in full swing, the poker tournament seduces players from across the country. They were 179 to participate in the race on Day 1A of the Main Event, but only 33 of them would survive after 14 levels of play. Yousri Ali grabs the chip lead heading to Day 2 of the 2015 MSPT Meskwaki Main Event with 309,500 chips. Rex Clinkscales (286,000), John Joachim (266,500), James Wilson (230,500), Tony Frost (168,000), Rob Wazwaz (162,000), Joe Ingersol (157,500), Karakikov Pavlin ( 141,500), Henry Mlekoday (140,500), Andy Van Blair (136,500), and poker lady Patricia Bott (41,000) are the other runners who will battle it out on Day 2.
Speaking of Day 1B, it attracted 231 players, scaling up the total field to 410. Angelina Rich closed the day on top of the leader-board with 274,000 chips. By all accounts, it is Day 1As top man Yousri "Chicago "Ali who leads the pack to Day 2 flight with his 309,500 chips. Rich is actually best-placed to win the title. Last year, the highly talented poker lady captured a MSPT title in Las Vegas. She also won another trophy in the Aussie Millions festival last January. Among those who remain in the race for Day 2, there is a panel of notables, the likes of Tom Hammers (85,000), Craig Casino (49,500), Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler (71,500), Dave Gonia (64,500), the MSPT Canterbury title holder Peixin Liu (72,500) and the defending MSPT Meskwaki championTerry Ring (63,000).
