Mari Ho won the charity tournament trophy - Chad Brown Memorial
The second edition of the Chad Brown Memorial event, held in memory of Chad Brown as part of the launch of the campaign against cancer called "Suck Out Sarcoma", was successfully held at Planet Hollywood Resort of Las Vegas. Celebrities in the poker world have participated in this event. Having started with a cocktail and an auction, the Chad Brown Memorial ended with a charity poker tournament at $ 240 of buy-in with $ 100 rebuys. The competition brought together a few dozen players, including professionals such as Chris Moorman, Jennifer Tilly, Linda Johnson and Liv Boeree. Note that the benefits were paid to TJMartell Foundation, an organization that supports research against cancer, leukemia and AIDS.
Apart from being the host of honor of the event, Maria Ho participated actively in the tournament. After six rebuys, she was awarded the victory which again demonstrates her talent for poker. As a prize, she won a seat for the Main Event of the World Series of Poker 2015. Maria Ho praised specifically the work provided by the organizer, Jennifer Winter, before revealing her joy of having won the game. Among her competitors on the final table, there was Vanessa Selbst, Fatima Moreira De Melo, John Duthie, Leo Margets, Tony Hachem and Ophelia Laffuge. The latter finished 5th and Vanessa Selbst occupies the place of bronze. Shane Warne is the runner-up of the tournament.
