Here is a look at the latest news from Rio All Suite - WSOP 2015
The Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is heating up with the 2015 World Series of Poker (WSOP) festival. A lucky one has just set the whole Rios poker room alight by winning a gold bracelet in the $ 1,500 buy-in Razz Event. It is about Max Pescatori. This Milan native of 44 is a regular participant in the WSOP. Extremely talented, this is the 3rd WSOP gold bracelet that Pescatori captured. For his win, he cashed $ 155,947; his overall live tournament earnings are now valued at $ 3.3 million. While the Razz Event went smoothly well, incidents occurred during the $ 10,000 buy-in Heads Up. As a reminder, Connor Drinan and Pratyush Buddigan, all part of the pack in contention in this event accused Valeriu Coca (another participant) of cheating. Speaking of Valeriu Coca, this professional poker player from Moldova is among the most successful regulars in such major events.
The most notables were his win at the World Poker Tour Spring Open Montenegro, and a 2nd-place finish at the European Poker Tour in Monte Carlo. This time, the Moldavan poker pro came up with a suspicious playing technique in the Heads Up. Knocked out by Moldavas Valeriu, both Connor and Pratyush talked about the so-called suspicion to Byron Kaverman who, for his part, draw the same conclusion with Valerius style of play. They eventually decided to report it to the WSOP officials. Admittedly, the latter took the accusation very seriously by waving the Moldavian out of the race. Valeriu has reportedly been involved in similar situations in the past, including cards-marking. Coca risks a severe penalty in case the charge is admissibly well-proven.
