David Kluchman clinched the win - WSOPC Foxwoods Main Event
The last stop of the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) has recently been concluded in Foxwoods. Held at the Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut (USA), the $ 1,675 buy-in WSOPC Foxwoods Main Event has attracted 376 entrants, building up a whopping prize pool of $ 565,315. Tough as the title race was, David Kluchman had to march against all odds to win the battle. And this is the greatest achievement he ever hit so far. According to the freshly crowned Champion, the game got particularly intense from Day 1 through which elimination was an inch closer to every hand he took. Despite all this, Kluchman successfully kept pace until the win.
A number of poker pros part took in this event. Among them was Will Failla aka "The Thrill". He actually made it through the final table. Against his will, The Thrill was the first to hit the rail in the final. Aaron Smith, John Lyons, David Grandieri, Greg Himmelbrand (the one who ousted Will Failla), Spencer Champlin and Yasin Ahmady aka "Blackjack" would fall in succession thereafter, paving Kluchman and Michael Thibeaus way to the heads-up. Thibeau played the final hand, arming himself with confidence to win over Kluchman. However, all chances were in Kluchmans favour. The latter was awarded the top prize of $ 124,370, along with a golden Championship ring and a place for the upcoming National Championship. As a reminder, the National Championship is the season-ending event of this poker tournament, and it will be held at Harrah's Cherokke from July 23 to August 2nd.
