Bernard Sultant cashed the top prize - Barrière Poker Tour Nice 2015
The legendary Casino Ruhl ablazed the whole Côte dAzur last weekend with the Barrière Poker Tour. 345 poker enthusiasts were in attendance in this 570 buy-in event. The two starting days of the Main Event respectively recorded 216 and 129 entries. By all accounts, this years BPT Nice was a stunning success. Plus, this BPT title race attracted a panel of France-based stars of poker, including Brian Benhamou, Erwann Pecheux, Xavier Detournel, Florence Allera, Nicolas Le Floch, Alexander Reard, Stéphane Benadiba and Lucas Mounier. Against all odds, it was Bernard Sultant who eventually emerged victorious of the battle.
This is actually the third straight Barrière Poker Tour final-table run for Emmanuel Terrazzoni. However, he failed to keep the pace and eventually swept out of the track by Salah Amran. For his 8th-place finish, he gained 4310 of prize. Preceeding Emmanuels elimination was that of Cherif Zermiche. The latter was the first to hit the final-table rail. He cashed 3,780 though. Finishing 7th place in this poker tournament, Julian Cesarini grabbed home 5,100. Then the elimination mill would see Claudio Peixoto in 6th ( 6,160), Nicolas Le Floch 5th ( 7,560), and Nicolas Merceron in 4th-place (9,690 ). Speaking of Le Floch, the talented poker player recently sealed a win in Enghien-les-Bains. Here in the BPT Nice, he expected a second-straight feat. Against his will, he only made it to 5th place. After the elimination of the FPS Monaco champion Dean Henry Taibi, the way was somewhat paved to a Salah Amran Vs Bernard Sultant showdown. With an impressive chip advantage over his rival, the victory of Bernard Sultant was pretty foreseeable from the first hand of the clash. Sultant cashed the top prize of 32,350 while Salah Amran would console himself with 21,050.
