An exclusive TV Channel for poker to be operational soon - Poker Central
While poker enthusiasts have thirst of continuous poker shows, only a bunch of TV channels are promoting the industry leaving them to settle only for streaming programs on poker websites. So, the anouncement stating Poker Centrals launch is sure to be of great interest for them. In fact, an exclusive channel dedicated to poker will be operational in the fourth quarter of this year. This future channel will only be available in the US at first. But Poker Channels CEO, Clint Stinchcomb, shows off a real commitment to broadcasting all events anywhere in the world, whether it is via TVs, desktops, or other internet-based devices. Poker Central is actually poised to broadcast numbers of poker tournaments, poker-related news, poker pros biographies, tutorials and other programs. This TV Channel will feature more than 2,000 hours of various programs at launch, Stinchcomb added.
To make it happen, Poker Channel has partnered with POKER PRODuctions, an iconic figure of the industry in the US, operating multiple poker events such as the High Stakes Poker, the Poker After Dark and the NBC's National Heads-Up Poker Championship. This partnership will offer Poker Central the possibility to broadcast nation-wide the $ 500,000 buy-in Aria event, scheduled from July 2 to 4, as well as the $ 25 Million Super High Roller Bowl. The latter is listed among the highlight events to be held in Las Vegas this summer. It guarantees $ 8 million of cash to the eventual winner. Note that poker experts Sid Eshleman and Dan Russell are part of Poker Centrals working team.
