Alex Trevallion won the $ 25,000 Challenge - Aussie Millions 2015
Melbournes Crown Poker Room has been moving under the rhythm of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship 2015 for nearly two weeks now. Last weekend has been marked by two great events, attracting a noticeable number of local poker tournaments-enthusiasts. Indeed, the $ 25,000 Challenge Event is completed with the victory of local poker guru Alex Trevallion while the $ 100,000 Challenge is playing its ultimate day game. Alex Trevallion has bested a field of 65 players, including Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius. His first-place finish at the Aussie Millions 2015 $ 25,000 Challenge allowed him to earn $ 645,150 and a golden championship ring.
Speaking of the $ 100,000 buy-in Challenge Event, 10 of the 63 players who entered Day 1 remain in the race. These 10 survivors are making up the final table to take place this Monday in the poker room of Crown Casino. Bagging it the chip lead is USAs Jason Mo; he will begin the final table with a stack of 637,000 chips. Admittedly, he has a pretty great chip advantage over his opponents, including Erik Seidel (493,500 chips) and Connor Drinan (403,500).The other Americans in the race are Dani Stern (358,500), Jake Abdalla (357,000) and Dan Smith (266,500). The other finalists include Two Canadians - Sam Greenwood (270,500) and Mike McDonald (260,000) one from Columbia (Stephen Chidwick [365,500]) and German Philipp Gruissem (271,000). As we know, the $ 100,000 Challenge seduced a great panel of notable poker players, including Fabian Quoss, Jeff Rossiter, Doug Polk and Daniel Cates. However, none of them make it through the ultimate day.
