Ole Schemion remains on top, Daniel Negreanu reaches the Top 10 - GPI
As well know, the Global Poker Index (GPI) publishes an update list of its Top 300 live poker tournament players in the world. Of course, this ranking is sure to experience some up and down movement with the results (pending) from the freshly-completed Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure 2015. The GPIs Top 10 has encountered change, but Germanys Ole Schemion remains atop the list for a fourth straight week. He is preceded by Pratyush Buddiga who jumped up six spots with his 7th-place finish at the 2015 PCA Main Event. The Top 10 includes Davidi Kitai (3rd, -1), Dan Smith (4th, +1), Bryn Kenney (5th, +1), Sorel Mizzi (6th, +3), Ami Barer (7, -4), Daniel Negreanu (8th, +39), Daniel Colman (9th, -5) and Olivier Busquet (10th, +24).
The best-mover of the week is Tom Thomas (291st, +1,222). Any way, those who bounce up high this week includes Jonathan Karamalikis (107th, +413). He had a great week in the poker room of Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas where he finished 13th place at the 2015 LAPT Bahamas Main Event, 15th place in the $ 2,200 buy-in NLHE Turbo Bounty event and 4th in the $ 5,300 NLHE event. Many poker players join the Top 300 this week, including Scott Baumstein (205th), Antonio Buonanno (212th), Zachary Korik (225th), James Collopy (238th), Samuel Chartier (273rd), Roger Hairabedian (290th) and Albert Daher (299th). While some were reaching the Top 300, others were falling down. Indeed, the biggest losers panel includes Dominik Panka (267th, -96), Justin Young (217th, -79) Vanessa Selbst (103, -74), Fabian Quoss (237th, -72) and Joey Weissman (275th, -72).
