WPT National Paris: 14 remaining players at the beginning of the Day 4
The gaming circle Clichy Montmartre, the last gaming circle still in activity in Paris, hosted since last Thursday, December 4 the World Poker Tour National Paris (WPT). A total of 683 poker player were present in this Parisian poker room in order to battle for the title of the WPT National. This poker series beat for the occasion a new record attendance if the current record is held by the step of Barcelona with its 515 participants. The edition 2014 of the WPT National Paris differed from the previous steps by its four starting days, which probably increased the field. At the beginning of the Day 4, it remained 14 players only among the 683 who started. A regular of the ACF circle, a circle closed a few months earlier, is the chipleader at the end of Day 3.
Indeed, it is Laurent Polito who is leading with a huge stack of 4,830,000 chips. Alexandre Gama occupies the second place of the chipcount with a stack of 3,855,000. Several of the 12 remaining players should however be followed closely because of their performance in the past, despite an average stack of 1,093,500 chips. This is the case of Omar Lakdhari who earned $ 567,868 in career, Franck Kalfon ($ 813,837), Mohamed El-Bakkouri ($ 354,029) or Nathalie Schaeffer ($ 65,400), the last woman representative of this poker tournament. The 14 survivors are guaranteed to leave with a minimum gain of 8,100 against 140,000 for the winner as the tournament planned 81 paid places.
