EPT Prague: The festival is scheduled from December 7 to 17
In a few days, Prague will play host to one of the largest poker tournaments in Europe. Actually the European Poker Tour (EPT) is making a stop in the Czech Republic from December 7 to 17. Named the EPT Prague, the Czech poker festival features a series of 59 events. Running the 3rd leg of the EPTs Season XI, the EPT Prague is a not-to-be-missed meeting for poker fans who want to discover some new formats that the organizers have included into the schedule. With a view to spice up the battle, the freshly introduced Super Hold'em along the Irish Hold'em events, among others, are listed on the menu.
The EPT Prague will take place at the Hilton Hotel, one big hall of which has been converted as a poker room to host the event. Kicking off the festival will be the Eureka Prague Cup, the Main Event of which is accessible for 1,100 of buy-in. As for the most anticipated event, the European Poker Tour Prague Main Event, the entry-fee is tagged 5,300. For those who love challenging games, they are well spoiled with the 10,300 buy-in High Roller or the 50,000 entry-fee Super High Roller. Better yet, participants have various events of affordable buy-ins, tagged from 100 to 2,000. For 21year-old poker players, the EPT Prague dedicates a 220 buy-in Junior Event to them. Last year, the EPT Prague hit a record-breaking field of 1,315 players for the Main Event and 1,007-player field for the Eureka. The latter was won by Germanys Julian Track for 725,700.
