Nick Jhivkov wins the MSPT Meskwaki for $ 104,974
Poker enthusiasts in Iowa and surrounding States gave appointment at Meskwaki Bingo Casino & Hotel of Tama to participate in the Mid-States Poker Tour. This poker tournament was a great success, as 426 players turned out to take part in the Main Event. After three days of competition, itÂ’s a player from Illinois who won the event; for recall, he already gained a reputation in the world of live poker in the United States. Indeed, Nick Jhivkov is neither at his first participation nor in his first paid place. He made his entry into the big leagues in 2012 following his victory in the Event # 5 of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). In addition to a WSOP bracelet, Nick Jhivkov cashed his biggest win in his career. In 2013, he finished runner-up in a tournament in Meskwaki after a heads-up with Terry Ring.
This year, Nick Jhivkov took then the victory of the Mid-States Poker Tour Meskwaki for $ 104,974. Mike Lang finds himself once again in the second place of a major tournament for $ 60,600 after having finished second at Canterbury Park on last April. There are also eight other players in this final table of the MSPT Meskwaki from the 3rd to the 10th: Ken Rosheisen ($ 36,976), Darren Ficek ($ 29,786), John Reading ($ 23,418), Jeremy Dresch ($ 19,515) David Gutfreund ($ 15,612), Robert Noe ($ 11,915), Andy Van Blair ($ 8,217) and Brandon Smith ($ 5,341). The next step of the MSPT will be held from November 13 in Black Hawk, Colorado with the MSPT Golden Gates.
