The calendar 2014 unveiled - Asia Championship of Poker
The Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) is one of the most-awaited events by poker fans in Asia Pacific region. The organizers of this series have just unveiled the new tournament schedule of the ACOP 2014. As usual, the Asia Championship of Poker 2014 will take place in Macau. This time, the event includes some twenty tournaments, scheduled from October 24 to November 9 in PokerStars LIVE poker room. All along the two weeks of festivity, the ACOP will propose 21 events, 14 of which are Spadie prized ones. Many satellites tournaments are also included on the agenda, available from $ HK 500. These tournaments allow players not to pay the assigned buy-in in some major events. They are accessible from $ HK 2,500.
The $ HK 2,500 Rebuy Championship, the $ HK 11,000 Deepstack Championship, the $ HK 11,000 6-Max Championship, the $ HK 15,000 PLO Championship, the $ HK 11,000 KO Big Bounty, the $ HK 8,800 2m GTD Spadie, the $ HK 8,800 Ladies Asia Championship, the $ HK 25,000 ACOP Warm-up, the $ HK 11,000 Turbo Championship, the $ HK 8,800 NLH, the $ HK 15,000 NLH, the $ HK 100,000 Main Event and the $ HK 250,000 High Roller are listed among these interesting events. Besides, players are given the opportunity to wager on other events of high stake level such as the Super Higher Roller, easily distinguishable from its buy-in of $ HK 500,000. As for the 2m GTD Spadie, as its name suggests, it guarantees a prizepool of $ 2 million for a buy-in of only $ HK 8,800. This event is one of the newly introduced events of this year in the Asia Championship of Poker; it is thus expected to attract more players. Last year, this Macau poker festival reunited 2,235 participants.
