WSOP Circuit: Grand final of the Season X from May 22 to 24
The organizers of the WSOP Circuit, the most select circuit in the universe of poker in the United States, have announced officially the date of the last step of the Season X. The poker tournament WSOP National Championship will take place in May, from 22nd to 24th of this year, at Bally of Atlantic City, in New Jersey. This event will group together the best players of the season. But before this final step of the WSOP Circuit, five other events are planned from this week. The Harrah's Cherokee casino in North Carolina will receive in April, from 3rd to 14th, the 18th step of the WSOP Circuit in which 12 events are programmed, including the Main Event with a buy-in of $1,675. After North Carolina, the WSOP Circuit will have a stop in Iowa, Philadelphia, Colorado and New Orleans.
All in all, the Season X of the WSOP Circuit counts 22 stages and the 44 best players of the season are going to gain automatically their seats in the WSOP Circuit National Championship. 50 other places will be granted to the players who have accumulated the most points during the season. To make the field reach the number of 100 players, the six last seats are to be won on the official rooms of the WSOP, in Nevada and in New Jersey. Two seats are put on the stake in May 10th (Nevada) and in May 17th (New Jersey) in freerolls tournaments. From April 20th to May 3rd, two other seats are to win on the two online poker rooms with the « Knockout Series ». The two last seats will be offered to the winners of the satellite tournaments at Bally of Atlantic City. The players of the Top 100 of the world ranking of the WSOP will be able to participate in the event for a direct buy-in of $10,000. That will make the number of players waited in the WSOP Circuit National Championship to 200 players, or a total prizepool of $2M.
