Event #19 of the WSOP: Victory and a 2nd bracelet for Davidi Kitai
The 19th poker tournament played within these WSOP 2013 was a striking event of this edition for European and especially French speaking community. In fact, the Belgian player Davidi Kitai has just registered his name on the 1st place of the $ 5,000 Pot Limit Holdem of the international poker events. The victory was more than memorable because apart from the gain of $ 224,560 that Kitai will bring home, the 18 previous tournaments of these WSOP of this year, played up to now, have been all won by North American players. And within the batch of paid places of this same poker tournament, always to honor the French community, the French Bertrand Grospellier was also noticed by his 7th place and his gain of $ 34,341.
However, this party which began on last June 9 was not a party of pleasure or a walk for the good of the crew's health. In fact, 195 well determined players and who know well to play poker have taken the departure of this tournament on Sunday, to quote only Jason Mercier (22nd), JJ Liu (18th), Paul Volpe (25th), Vitaly Lunkin (24th), before ending finally with the duel between Kitai and the American Cary Katz, a businessman and well known player in the world of poker. And after the three days of tournament, the main peloton of the final ranking was completed by the American Vincent Bartello ($ 103,628), the Bulgarian Dimitar Danchev at the 4th place with a gain of $ 77,893 and the Ukrainian Eugene Katchalov at the 5th place.
