ISPT Wembley : Pete Linton, chipleader of the final table
The Main Event of the International Stadiums Poker Tour (ISPT) continued its course on Tuesday, with the Day 5 which gathered the 20 remaining players after four days of competition. At the end of the day, six players were qualified for the final with Pete Linton as chipleader. Linton counts 11,070,000 chips and forestalls widely his opponents which are at less than 8 million chips. Alban Juen is in the second place in terms of chipcount, with 7,615,000, followed by Nick Hicks with 6,230,000 chips. Three French representatives are still in the running for the title of the first ISPT, to know, Gwendoline Janot, Xavier el Fassy and Jakub Michalak. Gwendoline Janot is the best placed among the French clan, with a stack of 6,230,000.
The eliminations succeeded hand after hand, after the director of this poker tournament, Simon Trumper has given the kick-off of the Day 5. James Sullivan, Neil Benardout and Giuseppe Stagno were the first to leave the stadium, but others did not wait for a long time to join them. That was the case of Léon Louis, Leigh Wiltshire, Praz Bansi, Dave Devilfish Ulliott, Freddy Deeb or Florian Hoeller. After four hours of game, the field was reduced to 10 players. The elimination of Jean Miguel Lacerda sent the nine remaining to a break-dinner of 60 minutes. Julian Gardner and Jérôme Brion fall in their turn, only at half an hour after the return of the game. The Day 5 ended with the elimination of Ferhad Seyadi.
