Poker: Adam Junglen and Josh Arieh abandon their professional status
To the chagrin of their fans, Adam Junglen and Josh Arieh decided to quit professional poker. The two players who achieved very good results in tournaments have respectively their own reason. For Josh Arieh, the American poker pro of 37 years, his decision to abandon his career is due to the rise of young players. He effectively thinks that he no longer has enough ability to beat the younger generation. Note that he has more than $ 6 million earnings in live tournament and he won the bronze medal in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker 2004 (WSOP). Arieh, however, told that he will still be present in some tournaments that he particularly likes as the WSOP Main Event.
Regarding Adam Junglen, he published in his blog on July 15 that he wants to concentrate on his private life. Note that the player started playing poker at the age of 15. He currently holds $ 911,429 winnings in live tournament and an earning of $ 705,922 through his good performance in online poker tournaments. His result at the WSOP 2012 is one factor that pushes him to make that decision. He participated in 21 tournaments and won only three cashes. He therefore felt he needed a break. Junglen has not yet taken a radical decision. However, he thinks to choose another path in the future.
