Deep Stack Extravaganza: The Pot Limit Omaha won by Elie Payan
Each year, The Venetian casino, a must gambling hall in the center of Las Vegas Strip Boulevard organize on the sidelines of the World Series of Poker the great event Deep Stack Extravaganza. This very popular series of tournaments always brings professionals and poker players thanks to its very interesting structure which is a maximum of tokens and long enough level of play. And there's also the moderate buy-in. While the main event of $ 5,000 will be only held on July 12 to 15, a side event of the tournament already delivered its verdict. This is the pot-limit Omaha of $ 600. And it's Elias Payan who won the victory after knocking out Daniel Furnival at the last face to face. Payan achieved then a great performance at this event which brought together a field of 332 participants and pocketed the sum of $ 41,532. The British, for his second place, received $ 25,088.
In the third place is Kevin Allen. Casey Parker, Jordan Zucker, Con Tsapkounis, Bryce Fox, Emily Segall and Christopher Smith occupy respectively the 4th to the 9th place. Note that this edition 2012 is the third of the Deep Stack Extravaganza and it began on May 24 and will only end on July 15. Most of the event to compete in this series are No Limit Hold'em. But there are also Omaha 8 or Better, Pot Limit Omaha and HORSE.
