UKIPT: Ellet Mullin crowned during the Galway step
The results of the inaugural stage of the United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) of this year held at Radisson Hotel in Galway are known. After four days of fairly hectic fighting, Emmett Mullin emerge finally victorious from the tournament and pocketed for this feat the top prize of $ 100,000. Note that a deal has been established by the last three players in the race about the allocation of the prize pool. The final table between the 9 last players began on Monday, February 20, 2012. Each competitor gave his best to continue racing as long as possible in order to win the title and reward. However, the eliminations were unavoidable and Joris Ruijs, holder of one of the lowest stack at the table, was the first victim. He was followed five minutes later by Richard Haile.
While the public in the poker room hope for the third title of Nick Abou Risk, the champion also had bad luck and rolled to the 7th place ten minutes later. After his exit from the table, it was the turn of John Willoughby, Aleksandras Risinovas and Craig Burke to join the dock. After the three-way deal, Joe Roberts also left the table while still pocketing the third prize of 51,900. Mullin and Ronan Gilligan thus began the final heads'up. Note that Gilligan has already won the runner-up spot in the main event of the UKIPT Dublin 2010. Again, he had to settle for the second place with a premium of 73,650.
