Televised emission of poker: A priest wins $100,000
The first part of the emission of poker Million Dollar Challenge was held this Sunday on the American TV station Fox. For this first edition, the victory was awarded to a young 28 years old priest. The reverend Andrew Trapp, great amateur of poker officiates in the parish of Saint Michael, Garden City in South Carolina. Andrew Trapp who was qualified among 10,000 players of online poker eliminated the champion of the World Series of Poker 2008, Daniel Negreanu during the emission. Throughout the emission, he received the councils of the Canadian Daniel Neagreanu. For the first heads-up, he had dealt with the former basketball player John Salley. And the instructions of Kid Poker were once again profitable.
The priest faced the beautiful Vanessa Rousso, but fortunately that Daniel Neagreanu was there to give him invaluable councils. During the last Heads-Up, he faced Daniel Negreanu, who was up to there his mentor. Alone, the priest of South Carolina managed well, because he defeats the man who had already won the biggest gains of all of the poker history. During his interview, the vicar, also called « Father Rambo » because of his other activities such as paintball, specified that to play poker does not set any moral problem for a man of Church, not more than of drinking a pint of beer. « Its not a sin to buy a ticket of lottery, to play slot machines or gambling, but the gambling can be a sin if it is excessive » he added.
