Brian Yoon won his 2nd WSOP bracelet for his victory in 8 Handed Event - WSOP 2014
Brian Yoon emerges victorious in the Event#35 of World Series Of Poker (WSOP), a great event held at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino poker room since Monday. The Little One For One Drop 2013 event winner is actually at his second bracelet for his win in the $ 5,000 Eight Max No-Limit HoldEm. As a reminder, Brian Yoon had won his very first WSOP bracelet along with $ 663,727 of prize in the $ 1,111 Little One For One Drop Event. This summer, the Californian poker player added another sum of $ 633,341 to his gaming earnings plus a new golden bracelet. This four-day event has attracted 550 players, generating a prizepool of $ 2,585,000.
25 players met in the last days battle of this poker tournament but 15 of them were prematurely eliminated including notable players such as Jeff Madsen (20th) and Sam Trickett (11th). Nick Grippos elimination (9th) paved the way for the eight remaining survivors to play the final table: Dan Smith, Josh Arieh, Josh Bergman, Tony Cousineau, Mustapha Kanit, Brian Yoon, Timo Pfutzenreuter and Ardit Kurshumi. Tony Cousineau was the first leave the table for $ 55,034. As for Mustapha Kanit, he ousted Timo Pfutzenreuter (6th, $ 71,940) and Dan Smith (5th, $ 95,515) before bowing to Brian Yoon. He took home $ 128,862 though. Ardit Kurshumi finished 4th place and pocketed $ 176,684. Shorty after, Josh Bergman joined him ($ 246,169). As Brian Yoon entered the heads-up with a 3-1 chip lead, he successfully knocked Josh Ariel out. As a runner-up, the latter collected $ 391,575.
