Marrakech Poker Open: The appointment of this week in Morocco
New poker destination, Morocco will receive this week a new edition of the Marrakech Poker Open. The sumptuous Es Saadi Resort is hosting the event on the side of the Mediterranean from March 13 to 17. This 28th edition of the MPO will be embellished by many innovations like the new deepstack structure, the Re-entry format or the Main Event prize pool with 2 million dirhams guaranteed during this edition. In fact, the Main Event is characterized by a new Deepstack structure of 50,000 starting chips on levels of 45 minutes for a buy-in of 1,350 or Dh 15,000. The event will last three days and the prize pool increased from 1 million to 2 million dirhams. And the last change of the Main Event of the 28th edition of the MPO its the availability of the re-entry format to allow eliminated players from the first day to retry their luck the next day.
4 satellites of Dh 1,500 ( 135) were held to qualify for the Main Event and Side Event of this poker tournament. 4 packs will be distributed as the Satellite Pack worth 500, the Deepstack Pack ( 820), the Weekend Pack ( 1,600) and the Pro Pack ( 2,200). In addition to the Main Event, other events are also planned. The MPO will have many side events for an entry fee ranging from DH 1,500 ( 135) to DH 20,000 ( 1,800) like the Win the Buttons, Run It Twice, Mississippi, Bounty, the Deepstack Short Handed and the High Roller.
