Prague Poker Festival 2013: In competition with the European Poker Tour
Since a few years, the Czech Republic is hosting each December a great poker festival which has several tournaments, including the Prague Poker Festival. The edition 2013 of this great event will be held from December 5th to 22nd. Like as usually, one step of the European Poker Tour (EPT) will take place in the margins of the festival. And the organizers of both events have always worked to organize them in the same place. This year, its no longer the case. In fact, if the EPT Prague chose the Hilton Prague Hotel as host, the organizers of the Prague Poker Festival chose to organize the tournament within the Card Casino, located at 5 km from the Hilton hotel. This little detail will certainly create a kind of competition between the two events, because it is quite possible that both tournaments will be held at the same hour.
Let us note that the EPT Prague 2013 will consist of 40 tournaments including several qualifying satellites and it will be take place from December 8th to 18th of this year. Concerning the Prague Festival, several major brands poker tournaments are included in the program. The European Championship of Amateur Poker (ECOAP), accessible at 110 of buy-in, will begin the festivity. This tournament will be followed by the second edition of the 888 Prague Championship, then by The Grand Live, a great poker challenge which will last four days, accessible at 1,100. The participants will be afterward invited to participate in the World Sit'n'Go Masters at 750 finally in the World Poker Tour Prague, whose main event is going to be accessible for an entrance fee of 3,300.
